Week 1 Bulletin: St. Teresa of Calcutta 2018 - 2019
Published on Sep 8, 2018 22:41

Hello Everyone,

Our first week of school was a success and it certainly set a positive tone for the year.  It was lovely to welcome back all our former and new students. As I walked around from classroom to classroom, I saw many smiling faces and happy chatter.  I know that this enthusiasm from students and staff will continue throughout the school year. I thank all our families for your support as we launch into an exciting and enjoyable school year.

A special thank you to all our JK parents (especially the first timers): this is the beginning of a new stage in your child’s life.  The time will go by so quickly and before you know it your child will be crossing the stage at graduation.

Thank you for your assistance with parking lot procedures.  Just a reminder that we do not have enough parking spaces for staff, so if you are dropping off your child in the morning, parking is available on the street and near by side streets.  We all need to work together to maintain the safety of our students, staff and families.

Thank you to those parents who have signed up for School Day.  Just a reminder that we are a ‘cashless school’ and all school trips, lunch orders and other essentials will need to be done through School Day.

I am extremely thrilled to be the Principal of the St. Teresa of Calcutta School community.  The students, staff and families are truly wonderful and caring. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting me at school.    Please follow us on Twitter @mtb-smcdsb.
