Week 12 --- Parent Bulletin

Hello Everyone,
The word “advent” means an anticipation of the arrival of a person or an event. Advent is the season that reminds us of an arrival of something great. As a season in the Church, it is placed at the beginning of the Church year. It is the beginning of a new spiritual journey for each of us. We are reminded once again that the promise God made about our salvation has come. This promise is the true hope beyond any other hope we have. We build our traditions around this time to remind us of that great mystery of Christ’s coming for our salvation. We are entering the first week of Advent which in our Catholic teaching we light the first candle which signifies ‘hope’.
Weekly recap:
Guidance teachers from Holy Trinity High School visited our grade 8 students to discuss the grade 9 course selection process. Each student received an information package from Holy Trinity, so please take some time with your child to review this together.
And lastly, hot lunch ordering for January, February and March 2020 is now available for purchase. Ordering is to be done through School Day. Options can be found under the PRODUCT tab at the top of the screen on your DASHBOARD page. If you have any issues, please contact the office.
