Parent Memo - Jan.27th - Jan.31st

Hello Everyone,
Only one more week left of January and then we welcome February. Our students are working very hard and learning new things each and every day. Just a reminder that students are expected to be at school ready for learning at 8:50 a.m.. If your child(ren) arrives to school after the morning bell they are late and will need to go to the office to sign in. Please note that morning supervision begins at 8:35 a.m.. Students who arrive to school before this time will not be supervised.
When buses are cancelled and schools are open for student learning we ask that parents wishing to drive their child(ren) to school, pick up their child(ren) no later than 3:10 p.m.. Please provide yourself extra time to account for additional traffic and/or poor road conditions. The parking lot is closed between 3:10 p.m and 3:25 p.m. Parking is available for parents picking up their child(ren) on the road and side streets. We all need to work together to ensure that the safety of our students come first.
We have a busy week ahead with many literacy events planned.
On Literacy Day, Monday, January 27th people from the community have been invited to read Dr. Seuss books to classes.
Every day of the week there is a spirit day that students/teachers are encouraged to participate in.
Monday, January 27th - “Cat in the Hat” Wear a fun hat.

Tuesday, January 28th - “Green Eggs and Ham” Wear green.
Wednesday, January 29th - “Wacky Wednesday” - Wear mix-matched socks
Thursday, January 30th - “The Lorax” Wear a silly mustache and wear red, white or Stripes.
