Hello Everyone,
Sunday was Groundhog Day and our favourite groundhog Wiarton Willie did not see his shadow, which means that we are in for an early spring. For those of you who enjoy the winter weather, this may seem like bad news, but for others who have had enough of snow, spring is on it’s way….we’ll see.
Weekly Recap:
February is Black History Month. The Government of Canada’s Black History Month website is a good source of information. For 2019 the theme is: "Canadians of African Descent: Going forward, guided by the past." Be sure to share this information with your child.
Just a reminder that the parking lot is closed at 3:10 p.m., even on snow days. If your child(ren) is a bus student and comes to school on a snow day, parents are to pick them up in the front foyer. Thank you to everyone for your help in keeping ALL our students, staff and families safe.
