Healthy Eating Week Challenge

February 13-17, 2017 is Healthy Eating Challenge Week at MT.

Students are challenged to bring a variety of healthy foods for Nutrition Break during this week.

Monday is Mineral Day - bring cheese, milk, yoghurt
Tuesday is Carbohydrate Day - bring pasta, crackers, rice or any wheat product
Wednesday is Water Day - be sure to bring your water bottle 
Thursday is Protein Day - meat, cheese and beans can be in your lunch today
Friday is Vitamin Day - any fruits and vegetables will give you vitamins today

Grade Four students will be around to each class to remind the students of the benefits of these nutrients and to check the count of how many students have participated each day.
